My grandfather is a remarkable man, He was born on a small farm in Ireland in 1933.
At the age of 18, he emigrated to the US to become an actor. He had done all sorts of odd jobs to pay for acting lessons.
At 22, he got his first part and by the time he was 27, he had already reached world fame!
Five years later, when he met my grandmother, he had already acted in five blockbusters and he had become the wealthiest actor in Hollywood.
At 40, he made a big decision. He stopped his acting career, left Hollywood and went back to Ireland.
