On commence par factoriser le x(2x-2) en mettant 2 en facteur :
[tex]x\left(2x-2\right)+x^2-1\\ =2x\left(x-1\right)+x^2-1[/tex]
Ensuite, on utilise l'identité remarquable (a+b)(a-b) = a²-b² pour factoriser x²-1 :
[tex]2x\left(x-1\right)+x^2-1\\ =2x\left(x-1\right)+x^2-1^2\\ =2x\left(x-1\right)+\left(x-1\right)\left(x+1\right)[/tex]
Puis on factorise par (x-1) :
[tex]2x\left(x-1\right)+\left(x-1\right)\left(x+1\right)\\ =\left(x-1\right)\left[2x+\left(x+1\right)\right]\\ =\left(x-1\right)\left(2x+x+1\right)\\ =\left(x-1\right)\left(3x+1\right)[/tex]
