D. Forme négative au prétérit simple en anglais

c'est pas très clair comme consigne, il faut mettre forme affirmative et interrogative????

1. What did you draw for Mom ? / I drew her portrait. ( dessiner ).

2. We drank orange juice. We didn't drink Milk (boire).

ou l'inverse....

3. My grandfather didn't drive  too fast. He drove slowly to the station. ( conduire ).  

4. You ate my candy when i was at school. / No, I didn't eat your candy ( manger ).

5.  Did you fall off your bike ? / Yes, I fell in the street. ( tomber ).

6. My uncle found a Roman coin in his garden. How lucky ! (Trouver).

7. My friends gave me a Green T-shirt for my birthday ( donner ).

8. Did your sister go to the cinema ? / No, she didn’t. She went shopping. ( Aller ).

verbe se terminant par consonne + y = -ied

3. They ( arrive ) arrived late for the party.

4. We (marry) married in a church.

(comme 'study"  consonne + Y = -ied)

5. It (end)  ended at 6pm.

6. Ellen (wait) waited for an hour.

7. You (like) liked the movie. I didn’t.

8. Bob (need) needed that book yesterday.

9. They (use) used my new pen.

10. The teacher (help) helped the students after class.

D. Forme négative au prétérit simple en anglais

1. They didn't swim on Saturday but they swam on Sunday

2. I didn't go to work on Monday but I went to work on Tuesday.*

3. He didn't buy a new car. He bought a second-hand car.

4. She didn't sleep well last night but she slept well the night before.

5. We (eat) ate spaghetti for dinner but we didn't eat anything for lunch.

Le prétérit simple

on ajoute -d aux verbes réguliers

s'ils se terminent par "o" "x", "sh", "ch" on ajoute -ed

les verbes se terminant par consonne + y = -ied

les verbes irréguliers sont à apprendre par cœur.

pas de méthode miracle .... de la patience ....

Formes interrogatives et négatives.

On va utiliser le prétérit de l'auxiliaire "do" qui est did.

L'auxiliaire étant au prétérit le verbe retrouve alors sa Base Verbale.

DID + sujet + Base Verbale + ?

négation

sujet +  did + not + Base Verbale. (did + not = didn't)
