1-I saw (see) my favorite singer the other day.

action passée ( "the other day" ) : prétérit

2-He has sold (sell) billions of albums since his debut.

Bilan : present perfect

3-I have finally met (meet/finally) my soulmate.

Constat/bilan : present perfect

4-She has just called (call/just) me, you were (be) not at  school this morning!

Lien avec le présent ("just" ) : present perfect

Tu n'étais pas à l'école ce matin : prétérit

5-They have been (be married) for twenty years now.

'action' qui a commencé dans le passé mais toujours vraie : présent perfect

Present perfect : il y a un lien, une conséquence... avec le présent

Prétérit : pas de lien avec le présent
